Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Truck Trailer Deals Inc for using Truck Trailer Deals: our website, the iPhone and Android apps, and our emails and texts. They are written in plain words; please read them.

Who we are

Truck Trailer Deals is run by Truck Trailer Deals Inc, 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, DE 19901. It is a marketplace where dealers and private sellers list commercial trucks and trailers, and buyers find them and contact the seller directly.

Agreeing to these terms

By using Truck Trailer Deals you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you use it for a business, you agree for that business and confirm you may do so. You must be 18 or older to sign in, message a seller or list.

Your account

You can search, call and text sellers without an account. To save trucks and searches, get alerts, or sell, you sign in with a code we send to your email.
Use your own email, keep it safe, and tell us at once if someone else used your account.
You can delete your account at any time: Delete my account.

Buyers

Searching, saving, calling, texting and messaging sellers are free.
When you message a seller, you agree that seller may call or text you about that listing. Only contact sellers about real interest in their listing.
Check the unit, the title and the VIN yourself before you pay. See Buying safely.

Dealers and sellers

True, legal listings. List only real units you have for sale, with the right VIN or serial number, year, make, model, condition and a real price. Mark a unit sold or take it down when it is no longer for sale.
Your own photos. Use photos of the actual unit that you took or have permission to use. No stock photos, no photos from other sites or other sellers.
Authority to sell. You must own the unit or be allowed to sell it, and follow the laws that apply to you (dealer licences, titles, disclosures, emissions rules).
Your details. Your name, phone, address and hours must be correct. You answer buyers yourself.
Plans and billing. You pay according to your plan. The free period, the founding prices and "Try us for a year. No buyers, no bill." apply exactly as described on our Sell page and in your Dealer area under Plan and billing. We don't take card payments yet; we will tell you before any billing starts, and you can cancel your plan at any time by emailing us.
Buyers we count. A buyer is a person who calls, texts or messages you about your trucks through Truck Trailer Deals; the same person within 7 days counts once. If you think one was not a real buyer, tell us and we check it.
Your content. By adding listings, photos and text, you let us show them on Truck Trailer Deals, in search engines and in our marketing of your listings. You keep ownership of them.
Free dealer pages. We may make a dealer page from public business facts. The owner can claim it, correct it, or ask us to take it down, and we do that the same day.

We are not part of the sale

We don't own, inspect, test or guarantee any truck or trailer, and we don't check every detail of every listing.
The deal, the price, payment, delivery, title and any warranty are between the buyer and the seller.
"Verified dealer" means we checked the business exists and the contact details are right. It is not a promise about any unit.

Not allowed

Scams, fake listings, bait listings or units you don't have.
Misleading prices (for example a down payment shown as the price) or wrong VINs, mileage or hours.
Someone else's photos, names or logos without permission.
Spam, threats, hate or anything illegal; contacting buyers or sellers for anything other than the listing.
Copying, scraping or reselling listings, or using them to send bulk messages.
Trying to break into Truck Trailer Deals, get around its limits, or see data that isn't yours.

Text message terms

Program name: Truck Trailer Deals alerts.
What it is: sign-in codes, the app link when you ask for it, saved-search alerts, offers, and for sellers who said yes to texts on a call, the link to claim their dealer page and replies about their page and listings.
How you join: by asking for a code or the app link with your mobile number, by turning on text alerts, or, for sellers, by saying yes to texts on a call with our team.
How often: message frequency varies: one text per code or link you ask for, at most one alert a day, and at most 2 offers a month.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email support@trucktrailerdeals.com. Reply START to join again.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Removing content and accounts

We may hide or remove listings, photos or dealer pages, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms, look like a scam, or get real complaints. Where we can, we tell you why and how to fix it. You can stop using Truck Trailer Deals at any time.

Our site and content

The Truck Trailer Deals name and logo, the website, the apps and the way listings are organised belong to Truck Trailer Deals Inc. You may use them for their normal purpose; nothing else is licensed to you.

No warranties

Truck Trailer Deals is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep listings correct and the site running, but we do not promise that listings are complete, correct or up to date, that a seller will answer, that a unit is as described, or that Truck Trailer Deals will always work without errors. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

We are not responsible for any unit, deal, payment, delivery or the behaviour of any buyer or seller you meet through Truck Trailer Deals.
As far as the law allows, Truck Trailer Deals Inc is not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses (such as lost income or lost business).
Our total liability for any claim about Truck Trailer Deals is limited to the greater of US $100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
If you are a seller and your listing or content causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
Some places do not allow some of these limits; then they apply only as far as allowed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except that either of us may use small-claims court where it applies. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly. Privacy rights under the laws of your own state, such as California, still apply.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you before an important change applies. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
